About the Instructor
SHANDRA MCDONALD-BRADFORD has been writing, directing and producing thought-provoking films for the last ten years. A consummate professional, she exhibits a unique balance between mastery of the details with a strong adherence to the artistry of the craft. Filmmaking is her "canvas." Calling upon a vast palette of experience and love for film, she has successfully created films that have won awards, screened in film festivals and aired on network television. With an MFA in Film and a BS in Journalism from Howard University, Shandra specializes in theory and production classes for film and television. She has taught at a variety of universities, colleges and non-profit organizations around Atlanta. She has also been invited to speak on panels at film festivals and conduct workshops at universities across the country.
